Our Vision Statement
Vision of a Relationship-based Ministry to One Another

In a relationship-based ministry, the ministries of our church develop out of God's relationship with us and our relationships with each other. Ministry is shaped by our members' needs, gifts and abilities. We seek to build each other up in the Lord by interaction during the week, investment in each other's lives, and a sense of joy serving and fellowshipping together. The restructuring of the church's organization and leadership provides support for relational ministry, the congregation, and any church programs. We know each member is an integral part of Christ's body and each is committed to Christ and to one another.

Our worship and prayer are an outpouring of thanksgiving and supplication for the needs of our members that includes all ages. Nurturing one another consists of support for identifying, developing, and utilizing one another's gifts and abilities and meeting one another's needs with special attention to nurturing our youth. Our ministry of caring is intergenerational and includes interaction with each other during the week. We commit time to each other to build trust so that all members feel the freedom to ask for help or to say no when we are not confident of keeping a commitment. Our outreach stems from our relationship with God and with others. The members have a natural and strong desire to reach out in service to the community in which we live. Incorporating new members into our fellowship begins with establishing a relationship with them and valuing them just as we value existing members. We will have facilities that enhance our congregation's ministry and meet our needs.

In five years, our relationship to God will be at the center of our relationships to one another. We will belong to one another and enjoy one another and God as He forms us into His family.
