Join one of First Church's small groups -- a place for you to meet new people, gain support, learn about God, and grow spiritually. We have groups for single people, couples and families. Each group generally meets once a week for meals, prayer, Bible or book study, socializing, service, etc.

Service Groups
Kids Club- for children from 1st through 6th grade: using Pioneer material; like Scouts for both genders; with games,skills learning (e.g. hiking, cooking,etc.) crafts, snacks, and Bible lessons for growth. meets 1st and 3rd Thursday, every month during school year. 7 PM. at the church.
Rescue Mission service-Third Wednesday 7PM every month. Contact Rupkes.
Highland Cove service-3rd Sunday at 2:30 PM, led by various people.
P3 Biking team- every June 24-25. contact webmaster
Small Groups for Adult
Wednesday night small group: Meets Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM at the Friendship House, 805 East 900 South, Salt Lake City.

Tuesday nights- small group at Chilado's,just south of Jordan Landing; 6 PM to 8 PM; discussion, Bible study and prayer.
Family Night once per month familes are invited for a supper (main meal provided, bring extras) and talking, with a children's bible lesson . 6Pm- 8 PM.Contact Vyfvinkel's or Deffenbaugh's.
Informal Sunday Bible Study currently studying the Psalms at Russ and Lynn's house at 4 PM. Breaking for the summer.
Women's Thursday morning small group at Marie's House at 10 AM. Contact Bonnie.
Men's Bible Study: This small group of men meets for Bible study on Saturday mornings at 8:00.
Book club meets every 4-6 weeks.Contact Beth through webmaster.
Adult Education Group: Adults meet to hear speakers and discuss books for the purpose of learning more about God and the Christian life. They meet on Sunday mornings during Sunday School.

seniors Group: This group of seniors meets once a month for Bible study, lunch, and fellowship. Special refreshments and warm, caring fellowship are always on hand.

Prayer Groups: Small groups meet as needed to pray for the church, our members, and our neighborhood. Send your prayer requests Pastor at 3594243 .
Church Choir: Join our choir if you like to sing. The group performs on special occasions and hold reheasals on Sunday mornings during the weeks before the performance. Contact Bonnie Newton the current schedule.
